The Tyniec Tour

Tyniec is a small village just 8 km west of Krakow. famous
for its abbey of St. Benedictine monks. This 11th century
builiding is situated on a hill at the foot of the Vistula river,
and played a crucial military role in Poland´s restoration.

Our tour goes along the Wistula on a new bike path so smooth you
could rollerskate on it, unlike most of the roads in Poland.

The Tyniec tour is a bike ride through the country, we pass through
woods, forts and lakes that surround Krakow. The focus here is a
journey through natural beauty with a destination of historical
significance. So unlike the city tour we do not stop every hundred
meters and talk. On this trip we ride, and enjoy.

We leave late in the afternoon and return in the eventing. The
time and route of the tour is perfect for photo taking, so don´t
forget your camera.
